every time i walk to that part of G4 (Italianni’s area) i wonder if that japanese restaurants/grocery serves yum-yum food… had this notion that their food is expensive and so i did not really bother on trying that place out… suggest that place to eat whenever my friends ask me where to chow… so one sunday, i invited my friend S to watch In The Heights and after that we decided to have dinner. i was craving for japanese and thought why not try that jap place… and so we went to…

tadah!!!

low and behold… i should have gone there eons ago..

food’s delicious and affordable… there’s just one little detail that i don’t like about the place… the place is small that when the tables are filled inside, you have to bear sitting at the center of the hallway where all the passersby can see you gulp that drink and munch that sushi..

orayt orayt, for good food, i won’t mind… =p

so here’s what we ordered, sushi-maki combo, toridon, tofu steak, kani-mango salad and soup (some are not in picture)

couldn’t resist taking a picture of this. i saw bert inside the bulletin board (near the elevator)… it was midnight and came home from work exhausted… and i was like, aaawwww.. somebody must have left bert =((

i hope that kid already got its toy back….

in my nephew’s birthday, i found this bottle…. eeee.. this is something i used back when i was a kid… i haven’t seen one in ages..

katsu meal the YABU way…

took a picture of the sesame seeds that we individually need to crush/grind while waiting for our food. when you’re done, you pour the sauce and dunk your katsu in it and EAT..

de-li-cio-so!!!

visit Yabu in Megamall

V-Day love…

first pic - chocolates i received from a friend and from our building (oh-so-sweet!)

second pic - the chocolates we sold for a living (yeah, right! =p).. hehe

Coca-Cola: 100-Year-Old Man Shares the Secret to Happiness

I work in the advertising industry & I feel so dumb that I actually believed the old man here is 100 years old. I knew what I was watching was a staged commercial & not an actual documentary, but I was still surprised to learn from the folks who made this that the old man was only 80. Everyone in the ad were hired talents & all scenes were (very well) staged. Sigh… oh well, it’s a well crafted ad anyhoo.

The most painful rejection always come from those you love the most.
